Handmade Porcelain Vase. Pictured with Cosmos flowers :-)

width at top: 2.5 in.
Thrown porcelain with chess board motif, and one pawn. Exterior has a layer of dark clay brushed on, and hand carved to expose the porcelain. Glazed with clear on interior. Signed and dated on the bottom.
Made during fall 2022 Artist Residency at the Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Newcastle, ME. Numeration on bottom is in reference to every piece made during the residency.
